Hotel discipline, brought home

Founded in 2014 by a former resort executive housekeeper, Luxe cares for many of the Valley's most private residences.

Our story

It began with a guest asking for help at home

For eleven years Celeste Arriaga ran housekeeping at two of Scottsdale's best-known resorts. Guests would stop her in the corridor and ask a version of the same question: could her team look after their homes the way they looked after the suites?

In 2014 she said yes to one of them, a Paradise Valley family with a house full of stone, art and grandchildren. Word travelled the way it does in this town, quietly and between friends. By 2017 Luxe had twenty housekeepers and a training residence in McCormick Ranch.

Today more than eighty W-2 housekeepers, estate managers and specialists care for residences from Arcadia to Desert Mountain. The principles have not changed: write everything down, keep the same people in each home, and never talk about the people we work for.

What we hold ourselves to

Four values, printed inside every house manual and repeated at every training session.

  • Discretion before display

We are proud of our work and quiet about our clients. No names, no photos, no stories, ever.

  • Written, not remembered

Every standard lives in a house manual. Quality should never depend on who is having a good day.

  • Care for the carers

W-2 employment, health benefits, paid training and fair schedules. Respected people do respectful work.

  • Materials first

We learn what a surface is before we clean it, and we say so when a specialist should take over.

How we vet every housekeeper

Five stages, repeated background screening every year, and your approval before anyone joins your team.

  1. Stage one

    Referral and interview

Most candidates come by referral from hotels and private households. Two interviews, one with our founder or operations director.

  2. Stage two

    Background and references

Federal and state background checks, identity verification and at least three verified professional references. Re-screened every year.

  3. Stage three

    Skills trial

A paid, supervised trial at our training residence covering stone, linens, glass and fine furnishings.

  4. Stage four

    80 hours of estate protocol

Discretion, key custody, security systems, photography rules and the care of art and antiques.

  5. Stage five

    Shadowing and your approval

New housekeepers shadow a senior lead in your home. They only join your team once you are comfortable.
